Judith Eileen Vliss

Judith E. Vliss, 79, of Farmington, NM, previously of Garrettsville, Ohio, passed away December 13, 2018 in Farmington. Judi was born on October 17, 1939 to parents Robert Ballard Pealer and Isabelle Theresa Tulley in Ravenna, Ohio.

Judi earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. She retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening and reading. Her love and care for her family, both human and pets, was evident to everyone she knew. Her love for making the Christmas season special with her family was shown through her baking, decorating and spirit of giving. Contributing to animal causes and their welfare brought her immense joy in life.

Judi is survived by her daughters, Christie Lynn Vliss(Carl Bickford) and Renee Marie Ukele( Cliff), Sister Mary C. Hetrick (Jim-Deceased), grandchildren; Gregory B. Vliss and Joseph P. Murphy, great-grandchildren; Ophelia E. Gerstenberger and Miles J. Murphy and nephews; Jeffery J. Hetrick and Robert Hetrick.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM at Alternative Choice Funeral & Cremation on Saturday January 5, 2018.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary 5001 Angel Canyon Rd. Kanab, Utah 84741.
